Dr. Marit Doshi serves as Project Manager for Jennifer Sowerwine’s food sovereignty and justice research projects. While her official title through UC Berkeley’s Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management is “Food Policy Analyst,” Marit does a bit of everything. For Growing Roots, her role is to herd cats, track and report on progress to community partners and funders, operate internal team and external-facing communications, and ensure that projects function in a good way, equitably and with integrity.
